Günhan Yalçın has more than 25 years’ experience advising on a wide range of Turkish and cross-border financing transactions.

He advises Turkish and international banks, financial institutions, non-bank lenders (including alternative investment funds), corporate borrowers and sponsors on transactions including bilateral and syndicated lending, project finance, acquisition finance, commercial real estate finance, trade finance, Islamic finance and debt capital markets.

Before founding Yalçın Aydın Attorneys at Law in 2026, Günhan established and led the Banking & Finance practice at Dentons’ Istanbul office from 2012 to 2025.

Günhan is recognised by The Legal 500 as a Leading Partner in Banking, Finance and Capital Markets and in Restructuring and Insolvency. He has authored the Türkiye chapter of The Legal 500 Lending & Secured Finance Comparative Guide for each edition between 2021 and 2025.
